When you think of a carpenter you may think of someone who makes doors and windows, that of course would be true. However being clever with wood has been in the family for many years, as David's Grandfather Bernard Tremlett was also a cabinet maker before he joined the Navy in the First World War. During this time he was soon transferred to work in what became the first Fleet Air Arm repairing our planes which of course were made of wood and the rest is history.
